You know one thing that tickles my fancy....a singer can have a song written for them and it be perceived just fine. Yet rappers who get rhymes written for them is perceived fake. For real tho, u cant even say that cuz some of ya favorite rappers still put they thoughts on paper. just cuz you think its a freestyle doesn't mean they aint putting together lines they already have written. freestyling aint just saying the first thing that comes to mind its the ability to put together concepts, metaphores, and similies in way that makes sense to an audience at a prepatory pace at the speed of thought, basically mental speed chess. thinking 15 moves ahead of your opponent and remembering what your gonna say before you say while your saying it. thats freestyling da restis just niggas saying the first dumb s***t that comes to mind and not really having any sense to what their saying. that why alot of artist are garbage nowa days cuz they don't have anything really to say.
