Deron Williams Gets $98 Million...Joe Johnson Coming Too!!! It looks like the new found Brooklyn Nets might have two superstars at the start of next season.

The team that is partly owned by Jay-Z just signed Deron Williams to a 5 year $98 million contract. They have also reportedly reached a verbal agreement with Joe Johnson from the Atlanta Hawks.

They were originally targeting Dwight Howard but this is not a bad start.

More NBA trades are expected to happen in the near future.

Dwight howard might be coming on board as well but the nets don't need to give up Marshon Brooks he can be the 6th Man i say brook lopez and kris h would be a good trade for howard but that is it The nets already have Joe Johnson,Gerald Wallace,Deron Williams and european leading scorer teletovich at the Pf position and the Nets just also snagged Reggie Evans from the Clippers Nets need to also start looking for another point guard and number 2 guard

Well since the lockout they increased the cap and got rid of franchise players...Meaning they can afford to give their starting 5 100 milli each...90 milli is the average pay 4 a key player now but wont exceed 100 milli. so 4 now on contracts 4rm elite players around the league will begin @ 90 only because the NBA now gets cuts of all their endorsements. why u think miami gave bosh 100 milli...U no damn well bosh aint no elite but he get paid more than lebron
