Lady SHOT & Killed By HUGGING Cop!!!....SO SAD!!! What was suppose to be celebratory, sadly turned deadly.

A 25 year old woman is now dead after she hugged a police officer, which triggered his gun to go off. Here is what the Associated Press reported....

:
A woman celebrating the weekend before her 25th birthday was fatally shot Sunday when she hugged an off-duty police officer.

The hug caused the officer's service weapon to fire, according to police and her mother.

The woman "embraced the officer from behind, causing the holstered weapon to accidently discharge." The bullet punctured Miller's lung and hit her heart, and she died at a hospital.


An investigation has begun.

RIP.

any weapon on a police officer should be facing straight up or secure down in his gun bracket , how can a bullet go west or east , i think the officer need to be investigated sound fishy to me

A glock doesnt have a safety. However, the only way one shot will go in your heart and lung would be from the side, or weird forward angle. Then for it to be holstered, he must be a tall ass cop or she was short. But still no way to get to the trigger unless it was the wrong holster for the gun. A revolver can be accidentally fired from snapping the hammer back just before it locks and releasing it. Even soo, she had to have been knelt down behind him. Makes no sense the way they are telling it

why wasnt his safety on ????????

the fact that his safety wasn't on while it was holstered should require some type of penalty tho. Even IF...i say if it was an accident. but the whole situation is highly unlikely...don't nobody hug the police.
