But you cant change these ppl nowadays. Cuz drama is what makes this world go round. And I dont understand why they call him a hero, he didnt change anything, he didnt do anything. He was just stuck in jail for a third of his life. Big deal. I know a man that was in jail for 50 yrs. He wasnt in the news, he wasnt called a hero. But he was also white, so i guess thats his fault. |

I give him credit for being an extremely strong and or resilient man because he not only endured 27 years in a hardcore prison(a place that psychologically can break you, and a place that physically can make you ill from stress), but he did it at a older & old age(46 to 72). Then after serving all that time, and being up in age he managed to be the president of South Africa at the age of 76 all the way to 81(or around that age). And lastly he some how lived to the ancient like age of 95 when he died from lung related problems(a condition he developed from the prison environment he lived in). |

If you're right then you got to look at it like his death was like Christmas, or Thanksgiving as far as it's an event that people wanted to prepare for. I mean you don't wait until Christmas before you start buying & cooking food, nor do you wait until Christmas before you start buying gifts. But yeah I guess his death may have not really caught the media off guard. |
