Woman was fatally shot by accidental gun discharge
Imagine your at work, doing your daily routine sorting out clothing that was donated to your location and a gun drops out of a sock to your sunrise, but your surprise does not last long because that very same gun discharges as it hits the floor and shoots you in the chest. This is what happened to a worker at a thrift shop in Chicago. The sad thing is the lady did not survive.

|A woman working at a Washington Heights thrift store was fatally shot when a gun hidden in donated clothing fell out of a sock and discharged. The victim was struck in the chest.
Officials said the woman’s co-worker shook out a sock that had been dropped off as a donation around 9:45 a.m. Friday in the backroom of the thrift store in the 9400-block of South Ashland Avenue. A gun fell out, police said, and discharged when it hit the floor. A 54-year-old woman was fatally struck by a bullet in the chest.
The victim has not been identified.
